This label comes from the Montelena vineyard in Napa Valley, and the castle represented on the label is the actual building, dating back to 1882. Check out their website at http://www.montelena.com/, pretty amazing place that looks as if it could be in France or Italy. On my must-visit list :)
(P.S: this is definitely not your "daily table wine", at $145 a bottle, unless your name is George Clooney...)
Great post. Just one thing, there's only one "p" in Napa. I'd love to get you a bottle of this special wine. Maybe next year, for Christmas! :)
